I'm still building up the spoons to start recording my next album, so I recorded a new single tonight. It's kind of short and pretty dark, but I like it.

I can tell that somethings coming
And it won't be good
I know I know it
In spite of the likelihood
That what I fear might not be
Based in reality
But I don't care
It still feels real to me

Sparring with apparitions
Just for a chance to fight
Cos I can’t understand
Why I’m not feeling right
Maybe Imagined vengeance
Won't get me anywhere
But it feels good when
Everything seems so unfair

When paranoia presses
Me up against the wall
And I need to feel like I have
Some power after all
It may not be so healthy
But it’s an easy fix
When I don’t have the patience
For all of the other tricks

I'd never try it in the real world
However much I may want to
But in my head sometimes
It's just the only thing
That's guaranteed to pull me through
